Cessna's 206H Stationair with G1000 Receives FAA Type Certification

Wichita, KS - October 5, 2004 - Yesterday, Cessna Aircraft Company achieved full FAA type certification for the Garmin G1000-equipped 206H Stationair. This is Cessna's fourth FAA aircraft-level certification for the Garmin G1000 equipped on a single engine aircraft. Cessna received FAA certification for the 182T Skylane on June 17, 2004, certification for the T182T Turbo Skylane on June 25, 2004, and certification for the T206H Turbo Stationair on September 9, 2004.

Cessna engineers are currently working with the FAA on certification of the 172 Skyhawk. Cessna will deliver its first G1000 equipped 172 Skyhawk in 2005.
