NBAA Results in 47 New Citation and Caravan Orders

October 21, 2004

Wichita, KS - October 21, 2004 - The Cessna team returned to Wichita from the 2004 NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) Meeting and Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, with 47 new aircraft orders. Of these, Cessna received 41 Citation and six Caravan orders. Before the show's official start, the company pre-sold 22 orders for the newly announced CJ2+ aircraft.

"The sales that were secured during NBAA included orders for the CJ1+, CJ2+, CJ3, Bravo, Encore, XLS, Sovereign and Caravan," stated Cessna Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Roger Whyte. "We had anticipated a positive response to our two new Citations - CJ1+ and CJ2+ - and the three newly certified Citations, but the number of new orders certainly exceeded our expectations."

During the show, Cessna announced it would build upon its successful CitationJet family product line by announcing the Citation CJ1+ and Citation CJ2+, successors to the CJ1 and CJ2, respectively. Both new business jets provide increased performance, FADEC engines, state-of-the-art avionics, and increased cabin comfort.

"NBAA is a very important show for Cessna," continued Whyte. "It is not only a great selling opportunity, but it is also a unique opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our company, product line, and after-market services."
