Cessna's Citation Parts Distribution Announces 1,000 ProParts Customers

May 17, 2005

Geneva, Switzerland - May 17, 2005 - Over 1,000 Citation operators, or over one-fourth of the Citation fleet, are now benefiting from ProParts, Cessna Citation Parts Distribution's (CPD) industry leading Cost-of-Operations program. ProParts offers customers extra security by providing fixed, monthly costs for Citation airframe and avionic parts based on the numbers of hours flown regardless of the service needs. ProParts is simple, efficient, and offers control over one of the biggest contributors to an operator's aircraft budget.

"Although, we have had many more than 1,000 ProParts customers enrolled collectively, this represents the first time ProParts has had this number of beneficiaries enrolled at the same time," said Jack Stiffler, Cessna's Vice President of Citation Parts Distribution. "Having 1,000 ProParts customers exemplifies the true value of CPD's Cost-of-Operations Programs, which reduce and guarantee direct operating costs for Citation operators. The continuing growth of ProParts is proof of Cessna's commitment to managed cost of operations with quality parts at the lowest possible cost."

In addition, CPD has also enrolled a substantial number of ProParts customers into PowerAdvantage, AuxAdvantage, and ProNav Cost-of-Operations Programs. These programs give Citation operators the tools they need to predict bottom line maintenance costs. Customers enrolled in these programs never face budget spikes, or compromising parts purchasing decisions. The PowerAdvantage program provides parts coverage for Pratt and Whitney Canada, Inc. and Williams-Rolls, Inc. engines and includes all consumables, line replaceable units, hot section inspection and overhaul parts. AuxAdvantage and ProNav are Cessna's Cost-of-Operations programs for auxiliary power units (APUs) and avionics, respectively.

Customers purchasing a pre-owned Citation that has been enrolled in ProParts, PowerAdvantage, AuxAdvantage, or ProNav have the added security of knowing the aircraft has been very well maintained.

Initial contract terms for new Citations enrolling in ProParts is five years or 3,000 hours from warranty start date. The used Citation contract term is three years or 1,800 hours from the contract start date. The annual minimum usage charge for both new and used aircraft is 150 hours for the CitationJet, CJ1, and CJ2, and 250 hours for all other Citation models.
