Jacobsen Plays the Field at the Women's College World Series

Jacobsen's Work Seen at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium

Oklahoma City, OK - June 2, 2005 - Women's college softball's elite teams will be playing in Oklahoma City this week for the right to call themselves NCAA Champions. Eight teams have advanced to the Women's College World Series, played at professionally groomed ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

The infield at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium is cut with a Jacobsen PGM22 and the outfield is cut with a LF 1880 with Magknife and groomers. Equipment is supplied by Luber Brothers Inc. in Bethany, OK.

"This is the NCAA's fastest growing championship," said Jacobsen VP of turf sales, Ralph Nicotera. "We are happy to say that Jacobsen equipment provides flawless playing conditions for these superior athletes."

The WCWS brings in nearly 50,000 spectators and each game in Oklahoma City will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2. Michigan, California, Arizona, Texas, UCLA, Tennessee, Alabama and DePaul will battle for the National Championship starting June 2. The Championship series begins Monday, June 6 and can be seen on ESPN at 7:30 EST.
