£100,000 Fleet Upgrade with Jacobsen and Iseki Equipment at the Norfolk

July 19, 2006

Ipswich, UK - July 19, 2006 - The Norfolk Golf & Country Club has recently taken delivery of a package of new golf course maintenance equipment, valued at just over £100,000, from local Ransomes Jacobsen dealer, Bartram Professional of Norwich. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company.

Included in the package from the Jacobsen stable is a Greens King VI, an LF3800 light fairway mower, an AR250 semi-rough rotary mower and a Groom Master II powered bunker rake. Completing the package is an Iseki TG5390 compact tractor.

Mike Peters is head greenkeeper and leads a team of five green staff. He has been with the club for nine years and has also held the same position at golf clubs in Aldeburgh, Northwood in Middlesex and Stowmarket. In fact, he has nearly 40 years in the industry and his opinions are well-respected.

Commenting on his new fleet he said, "Ray Barlow purchased the business from Eddie Shah in 2002 and has revitalised the entire operation. This latest investment is a testament to his commitment at The Norfolk and is helping to make it one of the finest newer courses in East Anglia.

"The Greens King VI is the best ride-on greens mower I've ever used, while the LF3800 is a highly productive machine which is well liked by my team as it's very operator-friendly. The AR250 is an excellent mower giving us striped semi-rough and providing enhance presentation and definition to the fairways. I particularly like the blade arrangement on the Groom Master and it has proved a real bonus in our bunkers; we have over 50 on the course and some are quite large.

"Finally, a word of praise for Bartram's; we have worked with them for many years and their service levels have always been of the highest standard. They are approachable, professional and reliable, just what's required in a grounds care dealer."
