Cessna Celebrates Independence: Southeast Kansas Facility Marks 10 Year Anniversary and First Production Citation Mustang Rollout

Wichita, Kansas – May 25, 2006 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, celebrates several milestones at its Independence, KS., facility on May 31, highlighted by remarks from US Congressman Todd Tiarht and Cessna President, CEO and Chairman Jack J Pelton.

Milestones being celebrated at the Cessna facility in Independence include the rollout of the first Citation Mustang produced entirely at the facility; the 10th anniversary of the facility; and the grand opening of the new customer delivery center.

Cessna's Independence facility draws its 800 employees from all over southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma. It is home to assembly operations for all Cessna single-engine aircraft, and now for the Citation Mustang, Cessna's new twin-engine business jet, now in flight test and scheduled to be certified later this year.
