New Cessna Center Complete at Sun 'n Fun

April 04, 2006

Lakeland, FL - April 4, 2006 - The Cessna Foundation has provided funding for a newly completed 2,400-square-foot multi-purpose educational center, the first building of its kind on the Sun 'N Fun campus.

"We are extremely proud to be dedicating the Cessna Center here at this year's fly in," said Cessna Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Jack J. Pelton. "We are pleased to support Sun 'N Fun's expanding mission to provide year-round education programs for aviation enthusiasts of all ages - especially young people - with valuable hands-on learning experiences."

Cessna will use the building as its headquarters during the annual Sun 'n Fun fly-in replacing a portable tent that has been used in past years. The rest of the year the facility will be available to host workshops and forums for all ages. The Cessna Foundation announced the new facility at last year's Sun 'n Fun fly-in. The completed building represents a $250,000 investment by the Foundation.

Cessna Aircraft Company is a subsidiary of Textron (NYSE: TXT), a $10 billion multi-industry company operating in 33 countries with approximately 37,000 employees in continuing operations.
