Ipswich, United Kingdom - July 3, 2007 - A recent International Service Managers conference held at RANSOMES JACOBSEN in Ipswich brought together 37 Service and Technical Managers from dealers and distributors around the world to discuss technical matters and enhance communication across the group. From their Ipswich head office and manufacturing facility, Ransomes Jacobsen supports distributors in 67 countries. This technical meeting provided the opportunity to promote the advances and innovative technology from across the group as well as revitalise the communications channels within the Ransomes Jacobsen network.
At the conclusion of a very successful conference, dealers and distributors agreed that an annual meeting such as this was required to discuss future issues and to further build the communication between themselves.
Jason King, Ransomes Jacobsen's Customer Support and Training Manager, hosted the meeting and commented, “It has been seven years since the last International Service Managers conference and it provided the perfect platform for an informed debate. We were able to demonstrate the latest processes that enable us to quickly resolve matters reported by end-users and we also had presentations from third-party suppliers. There was a preview of some of the new equipment launching at Saltex and it was also the ideal opportunity for many of the dealers to see the significant investment that has taken place here at Ipswich over the past three years. All in all it was a great success and will definitely become an annual event in our customer support programme.”
