The purchase of additional 407s positions Air Methods to meet customer requirements throughout our operating system. The speed, payload and range offered by the 407s in this fleet addition will help us meet the challenging mission profiles faced by our crews."

Bell regional sales manager Greg Maitlen stated, "Air Methods has relied on Bell products since 1981. These six new aircraft will join more than 20 Bell 407s already in their fleet. In addition to these 407s, Air Methods also has 40 Bell 429s on order."
