Delaware State Police Increase Fleet with a New Bell Helicopter 412

February 22, 2008
HAI - Houston, TX - February 22, 2008 - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, officials announced that earlier this month a new 412 model helicopter was delivered to the Delaware State Police.

Although the Delaware State Police have an all Bell fleet, consisting of 407 models, this is the first 412 to be flown by them. The aircraft has been extensively customized, with input from their pilots, maintainers, medics and others in the department. This will allow the 412 to accomplish any of the various mission profiles they are required to undertake.

Captain Jeffrey R. Evans, commander of the Delaware State Police Aviation Section stated, "We have been extremely satisfied with the performance of our Bell helicopters and when it came time to purchase another, we naturally turned to Bell."

Bob Fitzpatrick, senior vice president for Marketing and Sales at Bell said, "Bell is humbled by the continued confidence that the Delaware State Police have shown in us and our products. We are proud to provide capabilities to these professionals that benefit everyone in Delaware."
