Hawker Pacific Places Large Order of Bell Helicopters

Fort Worth, TX - July 14, 2008 - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that Hawker Pacific Pty Ltd, its sales representative in Australia, has ordered 12 Bell 407 and two Bell 206B3 helicopters.

"Hawker Pacific has represented Bell Helicopter extremely well since 2004," said Glenn Murray, Bell's regional sales manager. "Their territory now includes Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia. By placing these orders, Hawker Pacific will be much better positioned to optimize delivery schedule to customers and will enable Bell Helicopter to continue growing its presence in this region."
