Bell Helicopter Training Academy Receives EASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization Approval

Fort Worth, TX - September 18, 2009 - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, today announced that earlier this month the Bell Training Academy received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization Approval. The Bell Helicopter Training Academy is approved to provide EASA B1.3 training on the Bell 427 (PWC PW207D). Additional B1.3 and B2 courses will be added shortly.
