Cessna Parts Distribution Expands Aftermarket Offerings

July 27, 2009
Oshkosh, WI - July 27, 2009 - Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has expanded its aftermarket offerings that provide Cessna customers performance and safety enhancements.

Cessna Parts Distribution (CPD2) now carries the Spidertracks system, a web-based tracking interface and a Spider tracking device combining satellite communication and GPS technology in one small, portable device that does not require an external antenna. The system allows aircraft to be tracked by users from any computer, at any time, from anywhere in the world.

To demonstrate the utility of Spidertracks, Cessna provided one of the new tracking systems to German Corvalis 400 pilot Martin Bergbauer for his flight from Germany to Oshkosh last week.

CPD2 also now offers Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) for the Cessna Corvalis and Corvalis TT, which enhances the GarminG1000 GPS’s accuracy to within three meters. A rebate is available for the removed multifunction display and integrated avionics units.

Propeller-driven Cessnas are supported through a worldwide network of more than 350 service facilities operating with high standards of customer service. As the local expert in servicing Cessnas, each center meets a consistent standard of service requirements, including facilities, personnel, training, basic and special tools, parts and technical information.
