McCauley Delivers 200th Predator B Propeller

Wichita, KS – September 20, 2010 –McCauley Propeller Systems delivered the 200th propeller last week to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), for its Predator B Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).

Predator B is a medium-to-high-altitude, long-endurance UAS used as a multi-mission Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) and strike system by a variety of U.S. and allied customers.

McCauley, recently recognized by GA-ASI for outstanding quality and delivery, produces a three-blade, aluminum propeller and spinner for Predator B's turboprop engine. McCauley delivered the first production propeller for the aircraft in 2006 and has orders through 2011.

In addition to providing the propeller, McCauley also manages maintenance for the propeller system.

McCauley, based in Columbus, Ga., has been designing and manufacturing high quality propellers for more than 70 years, supporting commercial, general aviation and defense products with propellers and supporting systems.
