SkyBOOKS to Host User Training Prior to NBAA

October 13, 2010

Jacksonville, FL - October 13, 2010 - SkyBOOKS, Inc., a Textron, Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, and affiliate of Bell Helicopter, will be sponsoring a full-day SkyBOOKS user training session. Training will be provided on new and current system functionalities.

The economy is forcing the aviation industry to do more for less. In response, SkyBOOKS has been expanding their software so that users can manage more with the single program, including inventory, tools, pilot currency, and expenses. SkyBOOKS has also developed a user managed version of their program for companies that choose not to outsource their maintenance updates.

Training will include:

  • Basic navigation
  • New functionality
  • User managed capabilities
  • Flight Operations functions
  • Maintenance Tracking functions

“We want our customers to use our software to its full potential to maximize their SkyBOOKS experience,” said SkyBOOKS chief operating officer, John Willis. “Proper training on your Electronic Record Keeping program is a valuable addition to approved flight and maintenance training and an important part of ensuring operational safety and performance.”

SkyBOOKS will host its next training session on Monday, October 18 at 11:30 a.m. EST at the Downtown Hilton in Atlanta, Georgia.
