Extension Makes it Easier to Share and Publish Geospatial Data
AUSTIN, Texas, Jul 07, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Overwatch, a strategic business of Textron Systems Advanced Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today the addition of TerraGo® TechnologiesGeoPDF® production capabilities to its RemoteViewTM Pro 3.2 software. The addition of a TerraGo GeoPDF software extension is the latest enhancement to Overwatch's flagship geospatial analysis tool, among the most trusted imagery intelligence products used by the defense and intelligence communities.
The new GeoPDF extension facilitates convenient publishing of geo-referenced content from RemoteView to a PDF file, which may then be easily accessed through standard Adobe Reader software using the free TerraGo Toolbar(TM). TerraGo's geospatial collaboration software is among the most widely adopted solutions for sharing geospatial information. GeoPDF maps and imagery generated from RemoteView Pro 3.2 software include all annotations and are easily used by intelligence analysts, military personnel and individuals with little or no geographic information systems (GIS) experience.

Overwatch has begun shipping copies of RemoteView Pro 3.2 software with the inactive GeoPDF extension to customers under maintenance and support agreements. RemoteView customers must purchase the GeoPDF extension to receive the license that unlocks its capabilities.
GeoPDF is the latest in a series of powerful feature and extension enhancements built into the new RemoteView Pro 3.2 software. Important new features include the Geo-Confidence indicator for verifying accuracy of positioning data, Dynamic Resolution Roam for improved roam performance, and Multiview Review enabling simultaneous review of up to 16 images. Updates to the NTM module include support for MSP 1.1 and CGS 2.3.1. The new V-TRAC Pro extension is a complete full motion video exploitation tool that automates report generation. The enhanced 3D Pro extension dramatically expands 3D visualization and analytical tools to improve mission simulation. The RVConnect extension enables synchronization of vector layers between RemoteView and Esri ArcGIS®.
