Cessna Corvalis TTX Moving Ahead

Cessna announced that line flow has commenced for the Cessna Corvalis TTX. The TTX is a high-performance, single-pilot luxury aircraft that holds the distinction of being the fastest certified piston-driven aircraft currently in production.

Cessna Enforcer Program: New Approach for Aerial Law Enforcement

Cessna announced a program to market aerial law enforcement platforms that are more affordable, effective and simpler to implement. Cessna's Enforcer program is designed to offer select Cessna single-engine aircraft outfitted with the latest surveillance and communications capabilities.

New Traffic Alert System helps aircraft see & be seen

Cessna announced the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, 182 Skylane, and 206 Stationair year 2012 models will now come equipped with the Garmin GTS 800 Traffic Alert System (TAS). This system, when integrated into the avionics package, can detect traffic in the vicinity, audibly alert the pilot of the traffic's location and distance, and make the aircraft more visible to other pilots in the area.

Cessna Signs Grand Caravan Deal with Russia's GTLK

Cessna is celebrating an order for 15 Grand Caravans from Russian state transport leasing company GTLK. Seven Grand Caravans will be delivered this year and a further eight of the aircraft in 2013, with options for a further 15 Grand Caravans. GTLK will be leasing the aircraft on a subsidized basis to local operators as part of a government initiative announced on January 1 this year to improve local aviation services.
