ECLIPSE series mowers recognized for green features
Charlotte, N.C. - October 3, 2012 - Jacobsen's ECLIPSE® series walking and riding greens mowers were recently selected as finalists for the 2012 Charlotte Chamber of Commerce's Green Awards. The annual honors are given to Charlotte-area companies who offer innovative, green products or services that have less of an impact on the environment than traditional equivalents. After carefully reviewing submissions from companies across the region, The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce selected Jacobsen's ECLIPSE mowers as one of three finalists for the top award. The top winner will be chosen in late October.

Not only do the products significantly reduce oil and gas consumption, they also reduce particulate and noise emissions," said Dale Gillmore, Charlotte Chamber GreenWorks award Chair.
Jacobsen's ECLIPSE series walking and riding commercial-grade mowers are the only products in the industry to use true hybrid and all-electric technology to operate.
Last week, Group Engineering Manager Carlos Bellot presented an overview of Jacobsen and the ECLIPSE mowers to the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
