Bell Helicopter Extends Presence and Commitment to US Army Mission Success at AUSA

Washington, D.C. - October 21, 2013 - Today Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced its participation in the Association of the US Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, held Oct. 21-23. Bell Helicopter will showcase a full-scale representation of its Bell V-280 Valor third generation tiltrotor and provide program updates on the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior.

The U.S. Army recently awarded Bell Helicopter a Technology Investment Agreement for the Joint Multi-Role (JMR) Technology Demonstrator (TD) program based on the Bell V-280 Valor. Bell Helicopter is building a team of aerospace leaders who are aligning their interests and resources to deliver the highest levels of maturity and technical readiness to the U.S. Army for their future vertical lift missions.
