Cessna activities at Barrett Jackson car auction

WICHITA, Kan., Jan 06, 2013 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, will show support for American military heroes by donating a restored 1959 Cessna L-19E “Bird Dog” to be auctioned at the 43rd annual Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Saturday, Jan 18. The L-19E will be auctioned alongside a Dodge M37 truck restored and donated by Okoboji Classic Cars, forming a unique pair of historical items offered in a single auction lot. The proceeds from the auction of these two items will go to support the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF). As the exclusive aviation sponsor of the Barrett-Jackson car auction, Cessna will have aircraft on display throughout the show at the company’s exhibit.
