Company is recognized for excellent achievement by being awarded JLRQ

BONN, GERMANY (15 June, 2015) – Kautex Textron GmbH & Co., KG (Kautex), a Textron Inc.  (NYSE: TXT) company, announced its joint venture with Unipart Manufacturing (KUL)  received the Jaguar Land Rover Quality (JLRQ) Award for excellent supplier performance. The award was presented to Ken Evans, KUL plant manager, by Terry Sampson, director of Supplier Quality Global Jaguar Land Rover, at the KUL facility in Coventry, UK.

KUL received the award for excellent quality on all current production Jaguar Land Rover plastic fuel tanks.

The JLRQ Award is awarded to suppliers who meet the exacting quality and delivery standards of Jaguar Land Rover.  To be eligible to receive the award, the supplier must demonstrate a robust operational system and processes, show a proven ability to meet JLR quality and delivery requirements, and be endorsed by the Jaguar Land Rover Quality, Logistics and Plant Director teams.

The Jaguar Land Rover team received a plant tour after presenting the awards to the KUL employees in Coventry.
