Larry La Sala is Textron’s vice president and deputy general counsel – litigation. He was appointed to this position in July 2017. La Sala manages the Corporate litigation staff and has primary oversight of all litigation throughout the company, including product liability, commercial, government contract, aviation, employment and intellectual property litigation. He is a member of the enterprise-wide Legal Council.

La Sala joined Textron in 2002 as assistant general counsel and has since taken on increasing levels of responsibility, most recently as executive counsel in 2016. During his tenure with the company, he has worked on a number of litigation issues with primary responsibility for complex commercial disputes, securities litigation and products liability.

Before joining Textron, La Sala was an attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in New York City for nine years. He also served as law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Albert J. Lechner in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He received a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. In addition, he has completed Textron’s Executive Leadership Program and Global Leadership Program.
