Built with powerful 5-pole motors, corrosion protected circuit boards, and high impact resistant housings, these new tools have been designed with durability in mind. The Sherman+Reilly tools utilize a Makita® 4.0 Amp hour battery platform that provides the tool users with a solid 25% increase in available power over previous platforms. In addition to solid durability, we took into account accuracy. We integrated Automatic Trigger-Release Motor Braking to afford complete control of the crimp or cut.
By incorporating Intelli-CRIMP™ technology into the crimpers, operators have maximum efficiency when using them. With the benefits of efficiency and ergonomics, Sherman+Reilly termination tools help reduce ergonomic injuries related to the repetitive motion and strains exhibited with older style hand tools. We also understand the need for accountability, and as such have added the i-Press™ interface. i-Press™ provides detailed maintenance reports and real-time on screen read-outs; all through a simple USB sensing eye connected to a computer. The i-Press™ software that accompanies the S+R tools, is simple, easy to use, and auto senses the tool connection to generate configuration read-outs.
