HAI 2004 - Las Vegas, NV - March 14, 2004 - Bell Helicopter Textron aircraft deliveries for 2003 reflected the impact of reorganization and company process improvements. Additionally, in response to customer concerns and requests, Bell Worldwide Marketing and Sales instituted many new product improvements throughout the year. The combined effect amounted to a 20+% increase in aircraft deliveries in 2003 over 2002 with the delivery of 193 ships.
The build-up of a backlog in several models ordered paves the way for even better sales in 2004. Orders in December alone reached a ten-year high of 67 just before the end of the sales year. In 2004 more product improvements, the introduction of new models and innovative customer support programs will provide current and new customers the best total value of ownership in the industry.
Bell Helicopter Textron will be featuring the Bell 430, 412, Bell 407 and many other aircraft at Heli-Expo 2004 in Las Vegas in March 2004. On display in the main booth, # 962, will be the Asesa 412 and the Flitner Ranch 407 and a PHI 407 with an EMS configuration.
In the static display areas (Areas 1,2, and 17,18) there will be mockups of the 427IFR in corporate configuration. This aircraft features a redesigned cabin equipped with a complete glass cockpit. Additionally the Bell Eagle Eye tiltrotor UAV will be on display as well as a Bell 430 and Homeland Security 206B.
