Bell Introduces "Fly Smart" Member Program

October 12, 2004
NBAA - Las Vegas, NV - October 12, 2004 - Once again bringing innovation to the customer support part of the helicopter business, Bell Helicopter introduces its new Fly Smart member program. The new membership plan that is designed to assist Bell Helicopter owners in the management of costs associated with operation of their aircraft. This first offering is a unique parts plan. Future programs in planning for the membership will include training, engine care support and potentially reduced rates on insurance policies.

The Fly Smart Member Parts Program provides fixed, monthly parts costs for customers' helicopters. As a result, they can plan their parts expenditures months and even years in advance. And because this program is based on flight hours, customers can easily budget according to their specific business and flight requirements.

Commenting on the new plan, Carey Bond, vice president of customer service and product support for Bell Helicopter said, "I am extremely pleased to introduce this program for our customers. It is reflective of the dedication and hard work of our people who interface with the customer everyday. Fly Smart members will now be able to tailor their parts plan to their flying program. It is no longer a 'one size fits all' plan, but a cost effective way for operators to manage the parts and repairs portion of their business. And this is just the first phase of several new innovative customer support and service plans that will provide the absolute best value for our customers."

To make the program even more efficient the entire process of parts ordering invoicing and financial transactions can be handled using the VISTA system over the Internet.
