AUSTIN, Texas, October 5, 2007 -- Overwatch, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron company (NYSE: TXT), returned from a successful appearance at the C4ISR Acceleration trade show held September 17-20, 2007 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, N.J. The show is a joint symposium with Ft. Monmouth, N.J.'s local chapters of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Association of Old Crows (AOC) and Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and was an opportunity to showcase Overwatch's capabilities to the military.
From Booth #718, Overwatch demonstrated the Viper framework, the Overwatch Intelligence Center family of intelligence tools and AXIS Pro, emphasizing its applicability to Army units from the company to corps levels. This symposium gave Overwatch the opportunity to expand its relationships with existing industry partners and forge new ones with up and coming businesses beginning a dialogue on new ideas for how to improve the success of the warfighters. The symposium also allowed Overwatch to help set the direction for the C4I defense industry through its innovative architectural design and approach to meeting current and future challenges.

The specific intelligence domains address by the product line include Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) and data fusion (e.g. data correlation, aggregation and threat estimation). OIC supports multiple programs and products and offers key customer benefits that include: delivering systems quickly in a matter of months (rather than years in the traditional approach); pedigree for security accreditation, testing and training; providing shared cost environment for all customers through software component use and corporate expertise in customizing systems to meet unique customer requirements.
