Wichita, KS - May 9, 2008 - Sullivan, Higdon & Sink (SHS), the advertising agency for Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, garnered nine awards at the recent Business Marketing Association's 33rd Pro-Comm Awards event for ads developed for Cessna. No other single advertiser won more awards in the competition.
Along with awards won by SHS for other clients, the Cessna work earned the agency the ranking as the top business-to-business agency in the country by BMA.
"All of us at Cessna are proud of the work done by SHS on our behalf, and we are very excited to have Cessna advertising recognized on the same level as our aircraft and our aircraft service," said Tom Aniello, Cessna vice president, Marketing. "We think SHS understands our business as well as anyone, and our creative teams work very well together. These awards are the result of that collaboration."
The award-winning ads covered Cessna's entire product range, from single-engine piston to the Citation X business jet, the world's fastest. SHS also won a top award for an ad commemorating Cessna's 80th anniversary in 2007.
"We've been working with Cessna for 21 years, yet we continually draw new ideas to match the ever-changing lineup coming out of Cessna," said Joe Norris, SHS managing partner.
In total, SHS won 17 Pro-Comm awards at this year's event, more than any other agency. SHS has ranked in the top five in the Pro-Comm competition for the past 11 years. The agency is headquartered in Wichita and has offices in Kansas City and Washington, D.C.
