HAI - Houston, TX - February 24, 2008 - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that Rotorcraft Leasing Company, an offshore service provider operating in the Gulf of Mexico, is adding two 429 model helicopters to its fleet.
"These 429s will allow us to provide our customers with the latest technologies, Bell's world-class service and safety features coupled with lower operating costs in the highly competitive environment that we operate, said Lloyd Marks, Rotorcraft's president.
Pat Foley, Bell's regional sales Manager stated, "Rotorcraft Leasing is a long-time Bell customer and this is their first 429 purchase. Additionally they have three 407s and 5 206L4s on order. We are honored that they continue to choose Bell products."
Rotorcraft operates a fleet of over 90 helicopters from its home base of Broussard, La., and Bell products make up approximately 97% of their fleet.
