Military Students from 80 Countries Visit Cessna to Learn Business Practices

Wichita, KS - August 7, 2009 - One hundred thirteen international military students from 80 countries yesterday visited Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, as part of the United States Army Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.

Cessna is the only corporate business in Wichita the group will visit as part of the course's field study program. Through the field studies portion, students visit and view examples of U.S. economic and business interests, judicial systems, local, state and federal government systems, and educational systems. Cessna has hosted the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College for 13 years.

More than 50 percent of the graduates become heads of state, cabinet members, ambassadors, chiefs of staff, general officers or other key leaders.
