Cessna Announces Citation Mustang High Sierra Edition

Oshkosh, WI – July 26, 2010 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today its new High Sierra Edition of the Citation Mustang at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual week-long conference - AirVenture 2010.

The new Citation Mustang High Sierra Edition features special luxury editions of the three currently offered interiors, a special paint scheme, a Garmin G1000 with Synthetic Vision Technology, electronic charts, locking fuel caps as well as unique service and parts programs.

“The special High Sierra Edition gives our customers more luxurious interior and exterior options to outfit their Mustang,” said Roger Whyte, Cessna’s senior vice president of Sales and Marketing.

“The Citation Mustang has been an incredibly popular aircraft with more than 300 delivered worldwide since the first delivery in April 2007. The High Sierra Edition package will be a great complement for this successful airplane,” Whyte said.

The Citation Mustang is the world’s first fully certified entry-level business jet. The program was announced at the 2002 National Business Aviation Association convention and the aircraft made its first flight in April 2005.

Coming in at just over $3 million (2010 delivery), the Mustang features Garmin avionics, Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, and boasts a maximum 1,200-nautical mile range.
