Atlanta, GA – October 18, 2010 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, enters the 63rd NBAA Annual Meeting and Convention with the widest range of business aircraft on display and several planned announcements, a signal the company is not changing its customer commitment even in the midst of a challenging sales environment.
“As has been our mantra for more than 80 years, Cessna remains focused on new product development and customer service innovation. This will be evident during the show through our press announcements, through our extensive display of aircraft at DeKalb Peachtree Airport and through the staff of Cessnans in Atlanta to meet with our customers,” said Cessna Chairman, President and CEO Jack Pelton.
Cessna will feature at its static display its current line of production aircraft: the Citation Mustang (medical evacuation and High Sierra versions), Citation CJ1+, Citation CJ2+, Citation CJ3, Citation CJ4, Citation XLS+, Citation Sovereign and Citation X, as well as a Citation Encore+ and a Value Plus Citation Ultra. Cessna will also feature a 25th anniversary edition Grand Caravan turboprop and a Corvalis TT high-speed piston aircraft. Cessna will once again have an exhibit inside the World Congress Center, primarily devoted to customer service.
Cessna plans a special event open to NBAA attendees at its static exhibit on Tuesday at 1 p.m. (EDT). For more information on Cessna products and services, visit www.cessna.com and follow Cessna on Twitter @fly_cessna.
