Wilmington, Mass. - JULY 24, 2012 - Textron Defense Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that Randy Kosinski has been named vice president, customer solutions, reporting to senior vice president and general manager Ellen Lord. In this role, Kosinski will manage Textron Defense Systems' new business identification and pursuit activities, infusing the company's short-, mid- and long-term strategic planning process with domestic and international opportunities.

"Randy's credentials and breadth of experience make him a valuable asset to any team," says Lord. "But it is his dedication to his customers and his team that makes him a perfect addition to Textron Defense Systems."

Kosinski brings 30 years of program management and leadership successes to his new role at Textron Defense Systems. During 25 years as a U.S. Air Force officer and acquisition leader, he served in multiple weapon system program offices within the Air Force Materiel Command and on Pentagon staff. "Working alongside our talented team at Textron Defense Systems' Wilmington headquarters, we will be able to craft solutions that meet those requirements innovatively and affordably."
